DegreeBaba (“DegreeBaba”, “we”, “us”) operates degreebaba.com and related services that help students discover, compare and apply to online degree programs offered by UGC-entitled universities in India.
This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you browse our website, submit an enquiry, speak with a counsellor or use our comparison tools. It is written in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.
SECTION 02
We do not ask for sensitive data such as financial account details, passwords or health information. Please do not share them with our counsellors.

By submitting a form or requesting a callback, you consent to DegreeBaba and its partner universities contacting you on the number and email you provide — even if that number is registered on the National Do Not Call (DND) registry.
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to our messages, asking your counsellor, or writing to privacy@degreebaba.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to forms, remember preferences, measure traffic and show relevant ads on other platforms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as saved comparisons, may stop working.Disclaimer for more.
SECTION 07
We keep enquiry and counselling records for up to 3 years from your last interaction, or longer where the law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymised. Call recordings are kept for up to 12 months.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions for counsellors and regular security reviews. No online service is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of any breach as required by law.

Our services are meant for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use DegreeBaba with a parent or guardian, who should submit the enquiry on your behalf.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. For significant changes we will notify you by email or a notice on the website.
